Some stories about how these techniques worked for Shoppers:
I just finished reading “Shotgun Shopping” and wanted to let you know how it has helped me, in my life. For over 5 years now, I have been around Sheevaun and have taken all of her classes and workshops. After reading “Shotgun Shopping” I realized that I had forgotten a few key tools that she taught me. One of them being, letting go of items that don’t serve me. In this case I had bought, my now ex-boyfriend and myself, a matching pair of PJ’s that had cute peppers on them, about 5 years ago. They have been one of my favorite pairs of PJ’s because I had washed them so many times. I never wanted to give them away. After reading the book, I realized that by keeping them and wearing them, I would think of him and our relationship every time I had them on. Once I realized this, I decided that I truly want to let that part of my life go, so I gave them away to Goodwill, the next day, along with other articles of clothes that reminded me of other difficult times in my life.
Thank you Sheevaun! You never stop amazing me with your vast amount of knowledge !!
Sincerely

“Shotgun shopping” has made me aware of “needs” and “wants”. It made me think of “value” of items I have bought and self value. It is written with humor and personal examples of Sheevaun’s shopping experiences. The message in the book is so deep and profound. A step by step of what to do to achieve your wish list makes it easy to follow. This is so applicable not only to your shopping, but to your career and your life in general. Thank you Sheevaun, for yet again, bringing the complex energies of the universe, simplifying the process and handing it out to all to benefit. Bless you !!!!

Hello!
I just finished Shotgun Shopping. What a wonderful book full of clarity and so much personality!!!
Another success story to share. . .
We decided to look for an apartment and weren’t sure we would find something in our budget or the area we wanted. After reading the book we found the apartment in less than a week. After securing the apartment, I have found the Italian motorcycle that I have wanted in Missouri, just about a half hour from where Bruce and are picking up his Mom’s car pretty soon. I had seen this add on Craig’s List and it wasn’t exactly the price I wanted but it was the exact bike I wanted. I wrote it on my list, and an ad just came out about a price drop as well as possible trade. It turns out Bruce has a project bike that he is ready to let go of (he is preparing for another one). We talked to the owner and he’s interested. We’re just working out the details!

I couldn’t decide between two wedding dresses (a more expensive dress and a less expensive dress) – I liked both designs, but was leaning towards the more expensive one. I scheduled an appointment to try both on again and before I went into the appointment I wrote down all the
things my ‘ideal’ dress would have – i.e. what kind of cut, what kind of look, how it would move when I walked etc. I left cost out of the equation to stop myself from focusing on it.
When I tried both dresses on I compared my list of my ‘must haves’ to both dresses and it turned out the cheaper dress actually ticked more of the boxes. Before I made a decision I did a quick sketch of what I thought the less expensive dress looked like on me and realised it
looked a more like my ‘ideal dress’ in my mind than the more expensive one. The mental exercise helped me eliminate any cost descisions from the equation and I ended up saving about $2000 in the process. Thank you for the techniques -they really work.
