Get What You Want Without Cutting Back
You don’t have to give up what you want just because you need to cut back. It just means that you now must learn how to be actively creative to make it happen.
When you are in need of coming up with a solution is when you are most likely to be more inventive, creative and innovative. Now is the time to allow your highest and best self come out.
Through the book and it’s techniques you will learn how to become a master at manifesting.
Remember that your obstacles are created by your own decisions. So decide to allow your decisions, at this time, to be filled with possibility.
Cutting back may be necessary but remember that what you want is reachable if you decide it. The first step is making the decision that you CAN have what you are dreaming about, reaching for, or seeking out.
* Set a price that you are willing to pay.
* Decide that this is your price no matter the pitch or situation.
* Be clear and decisive about the item.
* Let it go and say “I release” then see what happens.
* Remember to release it again each and every time you think about it.
Have fun with this, otherwise you will be trying and trying and trying and the outcome may not be as pleasant as you had wished.
Shopping Alive and Well Due to Heavy Discounting
I had to go to a mall the yesterday. Yes, I know, you say mall and me – what’s up with that? Anyway, there’s an amazing phenomenon going on out there in the shopping world. It’s as if everything is on sale. Not only is it on sale, but with huge discounts. These discounts are even up in the 75% range. Go to our main page and you’ll connect with BlueFly and get 75% off on-line orders. So what I’m saying is that now is the time to buy something that you need and get the deal of the year. Maybe eve the deal of the decade.
I had to return a beautiful Christmas present and happened to choose the right day to go to that store. The reason is that everything in the store was an additional 25% off. I couldn’t even resist that. So go to Macy’s, Neiman’s, Bloomies, or even on-line and you’re going to find deals and steals because in order to stay in business it’s better to have some sales than no sales at all.
Conquer Shopping Stress – Get What You Want, Anyway
Yesterday I was pressed for time because I hadn’t been as on top of my productivity game. I had just taught a weekend workshop and have another project where the other side is writing long winding emails. My list was long and I needed to get the gifts for my Holiday Party attendees.
We had selected the place to get the gift, but when I called they didn’t answer all day. This was unusual as they are always open. I had to drive there and find that they were closed. The next gift idea was a LOT more expensive than I had budgeted. This was my original gift idea and we had called the company to request a discount because of how many we were going to purchase. We called and visited the stores four times and each time was told no they won’t give discounts.
Ok – fine. Heavy sigh. I’ll just get them anyway and know that they will be appreciated. I know it’s not going to be busy, even though it’s the holiday shopping season, because it’s been heavily raining all day. This makes me happy. I get to the store only to discover they are out of stock. Amazed I ask them to check everywhere. They do and still find no stock. I ask them to call the other store. Ah, they have enough.
As I make my way to the other store, which is 25 minutes away it seems as if I’m in a time shift and it takes forever. I finally get to the store and tell them who I am and they said they were getting worried about me as it took so long.
They are putting the order together with ribbons and boxes and I say, “So how about that discount?” The women look at each other and say oh we’ll give you the Friends and Family discount of 30%. WoooHoo – I got my discount after all. Shotgun Shopping really worked.
One of the women also had some additional information that would help my business land a particular contract and that was just an added bonus.
All it took was the drive and remaining calm in the face of the obstacles along with remaining focused on the objective. The discount and the right product.
So by now you may wonder what the product was. It was the Rose fragrance from Jo Malone. Just love the stuff and it’s such an amazing gift.
In Lean Times, Online Coupons Catching On
SAN FRANCISCO — On the Internet, nothing travels faster than a tip on how to score a bargain. Especially in an economic downturn.
Tami Chappell for The New York Times
Tavon Ferguson, 25, says she planned her wedding with coupon codes “at a price that nobody would even guess.”
Steve Kagan for The New York Times
When Scott Kluth started CouponCabin, some retailers were displeased. Now stores send him a thousand codes a week.
With online retail sales falling this month for the first time, Internet merchants are offering steep discounts to anyone willing to punch in a secret coupon code or visit a rebate site for a “referral” before loading up their virtual cart.

Hear an interview with Sheevaun about the book
Everyone wants to know how to get by with less. Sheevaun’s book specifically addresses how to materialize, EXACTLY, what you want. “Shotgun Shopping – Adventures in How to Materialize Anything You Want Through the Metaphor of Shopping” – 13 tips and techniques to get you what you want. Many people were addicted to the techniques from the book “The Secret” and didn’t get the results that they wanted. “Shotgun Shopping” takes you step by step to truly achieve results, fast. Other books talk about thinking and seeing what you want but they don’t give you concrete tools to materialize exactly what you want. I wrote this book because most people give up after a few tries and I wanted fun to be part of the experience. The tables are turned and Sheevaun is interviewed about the book and about how energy and shopping will take you to prosperity. You will learn how to materialize anything and everything in your life. What People Are Saying
Some stories about how these techniques worked for Shoppers:
I just finished reading “Shotgun Shopping” and wanted to let you know how it has helped me, in my life. For over 5 years now, I have been around Sheevaun and have taken all of her classes and workshops. After reading “Shotgun Shopping” I realized that I had forgotten a few key tools that she taught me. One of them being, letting go of items that don’t serve me. In this case I had bought, my now ex-boyfriend and myself, a matching pair of PJ’s that had cute peppers on them, about 5 years ago. They have been one of my favorite pairs of PJ’s because I had washed them so many times. I never wanted to give them away. After reading the book, I realized that by keeping them and wearing them, I would think of him and our relationship every time I had them on. Once I realized this, I decided that I truly want to let that part of my life go, so I gave them away to Goodwill, the next day, along with other articles of clothes that reminded me of other difficult times in my life.
Thank you Sheevaun! You never stop amazing me with your vast amount of knowledge !!
Sincerely

“Shotgun shopping” has made me aware of “needs” and “wants”. It made me think of “value” of items I have bought and self value. It is written with humor and personal examples of Sheevaun’s shopping experiences. The message in the book is so deep and profound. A step by step of what to do to achieve your wish list makes it easy to follow. This is so applicable not only to your shopping, but to your career and your life in general. Thank you Sheevaun, for yet again, bringing the complex energies of the universe, simplifying the process and handing it out to all to benefit. Bless you !!!!

Hello!
I just finished Shotgun Shopping. What a wonderful book full of clarity and so much personality!!!
Another success story to share. . .
We decided to look for an apartment and weren’t sure we would find something in our budget or the area we wanted. After reading the book we found the apartment in less than a week. After securing the apartment, I have found the Italian motorcycle that I have wanted in Missouri, just about a half hour from where Bruce and are picking up his Mom’s car pretty soon. I had seen this add on Craig’s List and it wasn’t exactly the price I wanted but it was the exact bike I wanted. I wrote it on my list, and an ad just came out about a price drop as well as possible trade. It turns out Bruce has a project bike that he is ready to let go of (he is preparing for another one). We talked to the owner and he’s interested. We’re just working out the details!

I couldn’t decide between two wedding dresses (a more expensive dress and a less expensive dress) – I liked both designs, but was leaning towards the more expensive one. I scheduled an appointment to try both on again and before I went into the appointment I wrote down all the
things my ‘ideal’ dress would have – i.e. what kind of cut, what kind of look, how it would move when I walked etc. I left cost out of the equation to stop myself from focusing on it.
When I tried both dresses on I compared my list of my ‘must haves’ to both dresses and it turned out the cheaper dress actually ticked more of the boxes. Before I made a decision I did a quick sketch of what I thought the less expensive dress looked like on me and realised it
looked a more like my ‘ideal dress’ in my mind than the more expensive one. The mental exercise helped me eliminate any cost descisions from the equation and I ended up saving about $2000 in the process. Thank you for the techniques -they really work.
